Digby Paints is one of the first online paint retailers in Canada. I worked closely with them from the beginning, before they had even launched the brand, to help create eye-catching social media ads and landing pages that helped bring awareness to their online store. The result is a large variety of creative concepts targeting different types of customers, that brought in thousands of visitors to the site.
We targeted a variety of customer types, and used many different visual concepts to appeal to prospective customers. Some of our ads focused on lifestyle imagery of rooms that were painted using Digby paints, while others were focused on bold, eye-catching colours to attract attention on social media feeds.
Once we got people to engage with the ads, they were taken to landing pages that focused on different value propositions. This was a fun challenge, as there were many different designs created to try and appeal to the right customer type. Sometimes we’d focus on colour palettes, other times we’d focus on the benefits of ordering through Digby’s store.
Finally, to show off Digby’s wide variety of colours in person, and give customers a better sense of what the colours would look like before they purchased and painted their walls, I worked with Digby to create a brochure describing all 60 of their premium paint colours.
The result was a bright, colourful, on-brand brochure that gets customers excited about painting. It’s regularly posted to social media by clients who can’t wait to paint their walls with Digby.
