I've been captivated by the innovative strides being made in AI-driven technologies. The overarching mission to reduce phone dependency and make technology more attuned to human needs has been a significant source of inspiration for me. Motivated by these advancements, I envisioned various applications for AI technology that particularly piqued my interest. These ideas were aimed at illustrating how wearable AI-enhanced devices could seamlessly blend with and enhance the experiences we currently associate with our smartphones and watches. Below, I present some of these conceptual explorations.
Wayfinding
Created in collaboration with Zane Liu
What if maps could be more personal, providing just the right level of guidance by seeing what you see? My friend Zane Liu and I explored how AI-powered hardware could help you get to your destination with less friction than any modern solution available.
Checking in to an Airbnb
How AI-powered hardware might help you check in to an Airbnb by providing directions to the location, the necessary information to enter the property, and a personalized welcome message.
Riding public transit
Imagining how AI-driven technologies could present relevant transit information when you're waiting to board, and help you check the balance of your payment card prior to getting on.
Making smarter dietary choices
Exploring how AI-driven technologies could help you make healthier, more thoughtful dietary choices, or guide you towards items you may enjoy based on your preferences.
Assisting you through the process of riding in an Uber
How could AI-driven technologies alert you with time sensitive information about your Uber, and provide updates on your ride while you're in transit?
